Home remedies for malaria

There are many methods to avoid malaria at home, but the major remedies are given over here.

1. Cinnamon

Cinnamon is a valuable remedy for the treatment of malaria. A teaspoon of cinnamon powder should be boiled in a glass of water with a pinch of pepper powder and a teaspoon of honey. This should be taken every day, which is a beneficial drug for malaria.

2. Grapefruit 

The meal plan with fruits and vegetables is always excellent when it comes to body treatment. Grapefruit is one of the most effective home remedies for malaria. It must be consumed daily. The natural substance similar to quinine can be extracted from grapefruit by boiling a quarter of it and filtering its pulp.

3. Nut fever

Another effective natural remedy for malaria is the use of walnut seed fever. These seeds can be obtained from any herbal store and can be kept for use when needed. Two hours before the assumed time, take six grams of these seeds with a glass of water, and the same dose should be taken one hour after the attack. If the attack takes place or not, the same procedure must be reported.

7. Chirayata

Chirayata is an herb that is botanically known as Swertia andrographis paniculata. It is beneficial for the treatment of intermittent malarial fevers. It helps to lower the temperature. Take 250 ml of water, add 15 grams of chirayata, 2 cloves and a sprig of cinnamon and boil together. One or two teaspoons of this can be consumed twice a day.


8. Alum

The alum must be dry roasted and powdered. One teaspoon of this powder should be consumed four hours before the attack of the expected fever and half a teaspoon after two hours of attack. It will give great relief to malaria.

9. Lime and lemon

Lime and lemon also play a vital role in reducing the type of malaria fever in the quartet. Take 4 to 5 drops of lemon, add the juice of a lemon and dissolve it in a glass of water. This mixture must be consumed before the onset of fever.

10. Holy Basil

Basil leaves are a beneficial remedy in the prevention of malaria. Make a paste with eleven grams of holy basil leaves with three grams of black pepper powder. This mixture can be consumed daily in the cold stages of malaria fever. This will check the severity of the disease.
